Barbara ate Kentucky Fried Chicken twice a week and lost 25 pounds in 8 weeks! How?

When’s the last time you visited a fast food restaurant? Maybe you have avoided them because you are in the process of losing weight. As part of my promise with the Diet Free Life Methodology – there are no forbidden foods and it’s simply a matter of understanding how to build or make a fat loss plate and you are guaranteed to lose the weight. This is true with fast food as well.

With all the traveling I do – fast food is not only convenient for me… it’s necessary. What I mean by this is that it’s best to eat something than to avoid food all together. When it comes to your metabolism, the goal is to keep it revved up and on the fast track to helping you drop the body fat. And when you’ve reached your fat loss goal, still, you want to maximize your metabolism so you optimize your mood and overall wellness.

To give you an idea of how easy this can be, consider making a fat loss plate at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Yes, you heard me correct. Here’s how easy and simple it is: Your Protein source could be two Original Recipe Drumsticks, which total 220 calories (20 grams of protein). Serve with a Fast Carb portion of their mashed potatoes with gravy and the Slow Carb – green beans. These three items along with a large salad makes for a Fat Burning Meal:

  • Total Calories: 436
  • Total Protein: 23 grams
  • Total Carbs: 25 grams (salad will give you the extra 5 grams of carbs)
  • Total Fat: 20.5 grams
  • Total Fiber: 2 grams
